ENTRIES NOW OPEN FOR LANCASTER INSURANCE PRIDE OF OWNERSHIP AUTUMN FINAL

ENTRIES NOW OPEN FOR LANCASTER INSURANCE PRIDE OF OWNERSHIP AUTUMN FINAL

HE LANCASTER INSURANCE CLASSIC MOTOR SHOW, AT BIRMINGHAM’S NEC FROM FRIDAY 10 TO SUNDAY 12 NOVEMBER.

Owners are invited to enter their classic cars manufactured before the year 2000, with 20 vehicles selected to be displayed at the November three-day event, where the public will be invited to vote for their favorite.
The standard of the car is obviously important but for the Lancaster Insurance Pride of Ownership, the passion of the owner and the journey the car and driver are equally as appealing.
The Lancaster Insurance Pride of Ownership was launched in November 2015 and has quickly become a hotly contested competition, with owners excited to showcase their classics at the NEC, especially at what is considered to be the classic motoring community’s season finale.
Andrew Evanson, Senior Operations Manager of Lancaster Insurance, sponsors of 2017's Pride of Ownership, said: “We’re thrilled to have continued our support of the Pride of Ownership display and to be part of something that celebrates the dedication, passion and enthusiasm clearly demonstrated in our industry. The entrants in previous displays have really set the bar high and we can’t wait to see this year’s participants, the beauties on display and hear the incredible stories behind them."
The Lancaster Insurance Pride of Ownership celebrates classic cars and their owners, gathering together those enthusiasts with the best stories about their vehicle that show they are the rarest, most unusual and the most cherished.
It could be the story of the car being found as a wreck and restored to its former glory or it being owned from new by the same owner. Maybe it's an extremely rare car or one that holds significant sentimental value to a loved one.
The top three all receive trophies, with the overall winner offered the chance to display their car at the next event held by the organisers – as well as the obvious bragging rights.
Previous winners include Steve Mills’ skiff bodied 1926 Packard 420, Stuart Turp’s 1969 Ford Capri Mk1, James Cribb’s 1989 Austin Metro City, and the most recent winner Keith Edmund’s 1972 Triumph Spitfire.
To enter, just email your contact details along with the year, make and model of your vehicle, a brief history of the car, and two images to andrea@poppyseedmedia.co.uk. Alternatively, download an application form from www.necclassicmotorshow.com where you will also find the latest news and can buy tickets
Entries close on 10th September 2017.
