Please contact your MP to stop an unexpected Fuel Duty rise

Worrying but very credible rumours are coming out of Westminster that there’s a fuel duty hike on the horizon.
Our campaign and its 1.1 million supporters have lobbied hard for the last four years and between us we’ve helped suspend every planned duty rise since 2011. We even got a penny cut in March 2011. And this, let’s not forget, has saved families and businesses around £30 billion in tax rises which the treasury worked out as a 0.5% rise in GDP. Serious numbers that helped see the UK economy through some of its darkest days.
The chancellor promised to suspend all duty rises for the length of parliament but now the election has passed, the July 8th emergency budget could be that moment of opportunism to slip in the first duty rise for four years. Shady work indeed.
We have to stop this happening. Please use our email your MP mechanism to try and get their support. We know 150 MPs suppoprt FairFuelUK. With the new intake in Westminster, let's get more on board. They will listen to you.
