Visitors
on 10 May will have a chance to see a full sized prototype of Bloodhound SSC.
This is a special
opportunity to find out more about the Bloodhound SSC project, the next British
contender for the land speed record. Visitors will see a full sized design
prototype of the car that it is hoped will hit 1,000mph with Andy Green at the
controls.
The Bloodhound
project will be showcasing the excitement of the project and will offer the
chance to drive at 1000mph in the Bloodhound Driving Experience.
Visitors on the day
will also be able to view the National Motor Museum's newest exhibition, For Britain &
For The Hell Of It. Beaulieu’s iconic Land Speed Record cars are
redisplayed to tell a story of British pluck, technological mastery and
national pride.
