WORLD RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP TEAMS TO LAUNCH ALL-NEW LIVERIES ON ‘SUPER SATURDAY’ AT AUTOSPORT INTERNATIONAL
Three World Rally Championship (WRC) teams are expected to unveil all-new liveries on ‘Super Saturday’ at Autosport International.
Hyundai Shell Mobis World Rally Team, Citroën Total Abu Dhabi World Rally Team and M-Sport World Rally Team will all reveal new looks to the crowds ahead of next year’s World Rally Championship season.
Defending champions Toyota Gazoo Racing are expected to run a livery similar to the 2018 season, but the show will be the first time to meet the Japanese firm’s new British line-up of Kris Meeke and Seb Marshall.
Autosport International will launch the 2019 FIA World Rally Championship on the first public day at Birmingham’s NEC on Saturday 12 January. In what has been dubbed ‘Super Saturday’, all of the drivers, co-drivers and team principals will be in one place to unveil the 2019 rally cars in front of show visitors and media.
Kate Woodley, Events Director, said: “The livery unveil is such an exciting part of the season and to have all the World Rally Championship teams showing their colours for the first time at Autosport International is amazing for us. But, even more importantly, it’s amazing for the fans to have the chance to share in this moment.”
Fans attending the show on the dedicated trade days on Thursday and Friday will have the opportunity to look at all four factory cars in the 2018 liveries.
