The
last car ever raced by Goodwood legend, Sir Stirling Moss - an
incredible 1961 Porsche RS-61 - will be going under the hammer at the
Festival of Speed in June. This piece of motoring heritage is expected
to fetch up to a jaw-dropping £2 million.
We
also have one for the cranks and geeks among you: 'Flat-broke but
fearless', a collection including some of the worst Formula 1 cars to
have given their all on the track. Add to that the Red Arrows and
Eurofighter Typhoon, and this has been a great week for news
announcements!
The
Festival of Speed is now less than two months away and we urge anyone
keen to attend to book soon, as tickets are selling at record speed.
Particularly since international superstars such as Valentino Rossi,
'Mad' Mike Whiddett and Richard 'The King' Petty have all confirmed
their attendance already. We have so many more famous faces and machines
to announce too...
