PRESCOTT
SPEED HILL CLIMB
Motorsport at Prescott goes back almost 80 years, and 2017 is set to be one of the most exciting in its long history. It’s always a thrill to see modern hillclimb cars attacking the course, and the British Championship will visit us twice – once for the opening round on 22-23 April, and again on 2-3 September.
Prescott’s life as a competition venue began when it was acquired by members of the Bugatti Owners’ Club after a referral from the Vintage Sports-Car Club, so it’s only fitting that those links are celebrated during the summer. On 15 July, the Bugatti Owners’ Club will host Bugfest, while the VSCC returns on 5-6 August – there are few better venues at which to see vintage racers in action.
The Midland Hillclimb Championship forms part of our popular Midsummer Speed Festival on 24-25 June, while the addition of La Vita Rossa has made La Vie en Bleu even better. French and Italian machinery will be firmly in the spotlight on 27-28 May.
Families will love the Prescott Bike Fest, the seventh running of which takes place on 9 April, and the American Autumn Classic, which closes our season on 30 September-1 October. Both offer unrivalled all-round entertainment.
Competitors will be able to enter online from the middle of February, while spectators can now buy discounted advance tickets from www.prescott-hillclimb.com. We look forward to welcoming you all to Prescott in 2017.
Sunday 9th April - Prescott Bike Fest
Bike Fest returns once again to Prescott on Sunday 9th April and promises to be an action-packed day for all the family in support of the Nationwide Association of Bloodbikes charity (NABB).
The seventh annual event will be larger than ever before, with even more bike manufacturers and clubs confirmed, plus a large display of historic, modern and race bikes on display in the paddock, demo areas, passenger rides, stunt show, trade stalls, live music, good food and a host of entertainment both on and off the track. You can even book a place to ride the famous Prescott Hill yourself, and be part of the spectacle.
Bike Fest is the biggest annual fundraiser for Blood Bikes and raises vital funds to enable them to carry out their life saving work. For more information visit: http://www. prescottbikefestival.co.uk
