What
a weekend. It has been an unqualified success yet again, as a sell-out
crowd enjoyed a brilliant weekend of epic motor racing, unique
high-speed demos and a whole range of great off-track activities to make
everyone smile.
You
could pick from any one of the 12 races to find unbeatable historic
motor racing drama, while the high-speed demonstrations featured a
seemingly endless stream of incredible racing cars. It felt like a
potted history of the sport at times, with high-airbox Formula 1 cars,
McLaren GTRs and even a modern Mercedes AMG grand prix car making an
appearance for the IWC Track Moment. And rumour has it that some tears
were shed as Freddie Hunt drove his father's iconic Hesketh around the
Motor Circuit. Read about all of it below.
We
have gathered some of the best galleries, videos and features below for
your viewing pleasure, but you can find plenty more on the Goodwood Road & Racing website. We are still adding more excellent pictures, videos and comments to the 73MM Live Social Stream,
so make sure you keep checking in to see the unique moments captured by
other visitors both on and off the track. And finally, we are also
running a competition to win 74MM tickets, so you could be there next
year: all you need to do is Tweet us your highlight of 73MM using the
hashtag #TicketMe - click the button below to do just that.
